|C. MHC Grant
|a) Susan reported that DRM and MTRC each asked for a grant of $639.50 to go towards pens at Spruce Woods. Each club was going to contribute $419.50 towards the pens. MHC granted each club an increased grant of $833. Both clubs do not have to match the increase in the amount. We will use MHC funds first and then top off the amount needed for the pens. If there are extra allocated funds, that money will go towards a dedication ceremony/celebration. Friends of Spruce Woods have stated that they will be responsible for everything involved in building two new 20 by 20 foot pens at the Spruce Woods Equestrian campground. All we need to do is let them know when we would like this done. Thank you Susan for all of your hard work on this project! Friends of Spruce Woods are thrilled and riders from many disciplines will enjoy using these new pens. b) Mary Anne will write The Friends Of Spruce Woods a cheque when she receives an invoice.
