Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order at 6:39 p.m.
Attendance: Kari Hasselriis, Terry McKee, Brenda Tolpa, Linda Gillies, Mary Anne Kirk, Iris Oleksuk

Additions to agenda – None
Treasurer’s Report:
GIC’s – $2,210.96, Chequing – $2,876.65
Membership: 20 single, 6 family for a total of 34
The Birds Hill Ride broke even. $510 came in and $450 went to the ride, $10 to a credit and $50 for a ride membership.

| MHC Survey | Kari will forward a survey developed by MHC to the MTRC Board and members. MHC would like feedback to help with future planning. Deadline for completion is September 25, 2022. | Kari Board MTRC Members |
| August BHP Ride Recap | A good ride, well run, good weather! | |
| Grosse Isle Ride | Two entries so far but a number of riders have said they’ll be registering for the 25 and 15 mile rides. Linda has lots of prizes, grab bags for riders, as well as draws for riders who are there at the time of the draw. Brenda will email Christine D. to let her know if she purchases a membership for the GI ride that the membership will be good for next year. If there are enough 10 mile riders, Linda will adjust the 10 mile loop to make it even more interesting for those riders. Kari will bring the ribbons to the ride Linda G. will pick up the items she needs for the ride from the equipment trailer. She will also contact Linda C. to see where the green binder is for Ride Managers. At this time the start time for 25’s will probably be 9 a.m. Linda will set the ride times and post them shortly to help riders plan for when they need to arrive at camp. | Brenda Linda Kari Linda Linda |
| Points and Awards Update & Date for AGM | Brenda and Kari have started looking at Awards for 2022 and will purchase awards when winners are finalized. AGM will be Saturday, November 5th at the Smitty’s in Selkirk. Kari will reserve Smitty’s for the morning and check with DRM to see if they will need Smitty’s for their AGM in the afternoon. | Brenda and Linda Kari |
| Fundraising | Iris will need a license to do the Grey Cup ticket fundraiser this year. Kari will give Iris the user name and password as we already have a license from one of our previous fundraisers. Once Iris has that information she will apply for the license and try to have the Grey Cup tickets ready for the October 8th ride. | Kari Iris |
| Next Meeting | The next meeting will be on Thursday, September 29th at 6:30 at Brenda’s home. Bring appetizers! |
